The Spitalfields takes its name from the East London district whose workshops, warehouses and market buildings helped shape the visual language now associated with British industrial interiors. Its open balloon-shaped cage, black metal finish and exposed E27 lamp holder draw directly from the practical lighting once used above factory floors, counters and worktables.

The geometric wire frame gives the pendant a strong architectural outline without enclosing the bulb, allowing light to travel freely through the room while casting subtle linear shadows across nearby walls and ceilings. Finished entirely in black, the fitting feels graphic rather than heavy, combining the character of vintage utility lighting with proportions suited to contemporary residential spaces.

A coordinating round metal ceiling rose provides a secure and visually complete connection at the ceiling. The fitting accepts one E27 bulb up to 60 W and is suitable for indoor mains-voltage installation on 110–240 V electrical systems. The bulb is not included, allowing the final appearance and warmth of the light to be selected for the room.
