The Aldgate is named for a historic east-end ward — a quarter of brick warehouses, ironmongers' workshops and Victorian gas-lit alleys. Its silhouette is honest industrial: a curvy spun-metal dome shade in your choice of seven painted finishes, mounted on an aged green-brass swing arm with a slim black ceiling rose. The arm pivots through a full 180° so the light goes wherever you point it — over a hallway console, beside a reading chair, or as a directional task light above a kitchen worktop.

Where it works best

It pairs beautifully with a vintage Edison filament bulb. Lit, the dome glows like a Spitalfields shopfront at dusk; unlit, it reads as a quiet, considered piece of metalwork.

Choose your finish

Seven finished painted shade colours: White, Grey, Brushed Silver, Red, Rustic Red, Blue and Yellow. Each shade has a small triangular cone tip at its base — a subtle nod to mid-century industrial pendants. The arm and bulb holder are the same antique-brass finish across all colours, giving you flexibility to mix tones across rooms or run a matched pair on either side of a fireplace, bed, or doorway.

Shipping & Delivery

Every ZYVORAN piece is held in stock with our UK suppliers and dispatched via a tracked, insured courier service within 1–3 working days of order placement. Pieces are supplied with UK-compatible electrical fittings (BS 1363 plug or BS 6500 flex, as appropriate). Please note that installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

International Delivery

We ship worldwide. For non-UK destinations, the recipient is considered the importer of record. Any customs duties, import VAT, or local handling fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are payable upon delivery.

Larger Items and Chandeliers

Some chandeliers, large pendant fixtures, and floor lamps are shipped via a specialised two-person courier service to ensure safe delivery. Where this applies, you will be contacted directly to arrange a convenient delivery slot.

Tracking, Missed Deliveries, and Damage in Transit

• Damage in Transit: If your item arrives visibly damaged, please refuse the delivery where possible and contact us with accompanying photographs immediately. We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost to you.
