The Highgate Tripod Floor Lamp brings a quiet, architectural presence to the room.

Grounded by three tapered legs crafted from solid rubber wood, the fixture celebrates the warmth and variation of natural timber grain. The legs converge at a dark gunmetal hub, where exposed industrial hardware provides a subtle mechanical contrast to the organic wood tones below.

Standing at a commanding 152cm, the lamp is crowned by a wide, textured linen drum shade in a soft beige. This choice of shade material ensures the light is gently diffused, casting a warm, inviting glow that softens the surrounding space without overwhelming it. The resulting silhouette bridges the gap between mid-century Scandinavian restraint and English literary comfort.

Where it works best

The Highgate requires room to breathe. The tripod footprint makes it an ideal anchor piece for the corner of a living room, positioned slightly behind a reading chair or sofa. It also excels in a home study or library, where the natural wood grain complements leather bindings and dark wood furniture, creating an atmosphere of quiet, considered study.
