Shoreditch - Black E27 Vintage Industrial Lamp Holder
The Shoreditch takes its name from the East London district where converted warehouses, exposed brickwork and utilitarian fittings have shaped a distinctive industrial interior language. Its compact black aluminium body and visible E27 socket give it the direct, functional character of early workshop and factory lighting, refined for contemporary residential use.
Designed to place the bulb itself at the centre of the composition, the Shoreditch works especially well with decorative Edison-style lamps, globe bulbs and warm filament LEDs. The black finish keeps the profile understated, allowing the glow and shape of the chosen bulb to carry the visual weight.
Rated for 110-250 V and up to 10 A, the holder is intended for use as part of a compatible lighting installation. The fitting should be wired and installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical regulations.
Where it works best
The Shoreditch is suited to interiors where a simple exposed-bulb fitting is preferred over a conventional shade. It works particularly well above a kitchen island, beside a bed as a suspended reading light, over a bar or dining counter, or as part of a grouped pendant arrangement in a hallway or stairwell.
Its black aluminium body pairs naturally with timber beams, concrete, brick, dark-painted walls and aged metal finishes. Used with a warm-white filament bulb, it creates the soft amber glow associated with early industrial lighting while retaining the efficiency of modern LED technology.

Styling & pairings
Pair the Shoreditch with an oversized globe bulb for a softer, more decorative effect, or with a narrow tubular filament bulb for a sharper industrial profile. Black braided flex, dark ceiling roses and aged-brass accents work particularly well with the fitting, allowing it to sit comfortably within both contemporary and heritage-inspired interiors.
Used singly, it creates a restrained bedside or reading light. Arranged in a row above a counter, it brings rhythm and warmth to a kitchen or dining space. Hung at varied heights in a stairwell or corner, several fittings can form a more sculptural composition without the visual weight of conventional shades.
Installation guidance
This lamp holder forms part of a mains-voltage lighting installation and must be connected to suitable cable, ceiling hardware and electrical components. Isolate the power supply before installation and arrange fitting by a qualified electrician. Confirm bulb wattage, cable compatibility and local wiring requirements before use.
