The Ludgate takes its name from the East London district where converted warehouses, exposed brickwork and utilitarian fittings have shaped a distinctive industrial interior language. Its compact black aluminium body and visible E27 socket give it the direct, functional character of early workshop and factory lighting, refined for contemporary residential use.

Designed to place the bulb itself at the centre of the composition, the Ludgate works especially well with decorative Edison-style lamps, globe bulbs and warm filament LEDs.
