Belsize — Gold Tone Floor Lamp with Textured Glass Shade

Refined gold lighting with textured glass.

A single dimpled-glass sphere held aloft on a tall brushed-gold stem, casting soft caustic ripples across the wall behind it. The Belsize is a quiet, well-mannered floor lamp — one shade, one stem, one circle of warm light — designed for the corner of a drawing room or beside a reading chair.

The shade is hand-textured clear glass, dimpled like rain on still water. The stem is slim brushed-gold metal, with a weighted round base in matching brushed gold.

Where it works best

Position the Belsize beside a low sofa or armchair where the shade sits roughly at shoulder height when seated. It works particularly well against pale plaster, soft linen drapery, or dark painted panelling. Avoid placing it directly beside a television, where the moving light pattern can compete with the screen.

Styling & pairings

Pair the brushed-gold stem with warm woods, linen upholstery, marble or dark painted panelling. A warm filament-style E27 LED around 2200K complements the dimpled glass and gives the fitting a softer evening character.
