Whitechapel was built for ambient evening light — the kind of warm pool you read by, not the overhead beam you cook by. Mount it beside a leather Chesterfield or wing-chair, above a dark-wood bookshelf, beside a freestanding clawfoot bath, or in pairs flanking a Victorian fireplace. The amber glass means the bulb is the visible heart of the piece, so a vintage Edison filament is the only sensible choice — anything else dilutes the story.
