The Burlington takes its name from Burlington Arcade, the Regency shopping gallery off Piccadilly whose warm shopfront light, polished brass and glazed interiors have shaped the atmosphere of evening London since the early nineteenth century. The bulb follows that same decorative register: an elongated ST64 silhouette, amber-tinted glass and visible LED filaments designed to recall the character of early Edison lighting without the heat and energy consumption of traditional incandescent bulbs.

Each bulb produces a warm 2700 K light that softens a room rather than flooding it with stark brightness. The amber glass adds further warmth to the exposed filament, making the Burlington particularly effective in fittings where the bulb remains visible, including glass pendants, open wall lights, industrial ceiling fittings and bare-lamp arrangements.

Supplied as a coordinated pack of ten, the bulbs allow a complete room, lighting installation or group of pendants to be fitted with a consistent colour temperature and decorative appearance. Each 8 W bulb produces approximately 800 lumens and is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer.

Use the bulbs at full brightness for practical ambient lighting, or reduce them through a compatible dimmer to produce the low amber glow associated with traditional filament lamps.

For reliable dimming, use the bulbs only with a dimmer specifically designed for LED loads. Performance may vary with older incandescent dimmers, particularly when several low-wattage bulbs are connected to the same circuit. A compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer is generally preferred for smoother adjustment and reduced flicker.

Installation guidance

Allow the bulbs to cool before handling or replacing them. Switch off and isolate the electrical supply before installation, then screw each bulb gently into a compatible E27 lamp holder without overtightening. Use indoors only and do not exceed the maximum wattage stated on the light fitting.
