Vintage inspired amber globe bulbs that add rich warmth and atmospheric lighting to any interior.
The Kensington is a set of six decorative G95 globe bulbs designed to recreate the warmth and character of traditional filament lighting with the efficiency and longevity of modern LED technology. Each bulb is formed from amber-tinted glass, giving the light a softened golden appearance even before it is switched on.
The generous globe shape recalls the exposed lamps used in early twentieth-century hotels, cafés and drawing rooms, where the bulb itself formed part of the decorative composition. Here, that familiar silhouette is paired with an 8 W LED light source, a warm-white 2700 K colour temperature and a dimmable design suited to layered residential lighting.
Supplied as a coordinated pack of six, the Kensington bulbs are particularly useful for multi-light pendants, chandeliers and grouped decorative fittings where consistency of shape, glass tone and light temperature is essential. The standard E27 screw fitting allows straightforward installation into compatible lamp holders.
Where it works best
The Kensington bulbs are intended for fittings in which the light source remains visible. Their amber glass and rounded G95 proportions make them especially effective in open pendant lights, exposed-bulb chandeliers, clear-glass lanterns and decorative wall fittings where an ordinary white bulb would interrupt the design.
At 2700 K, the light sits within the warm residential range, producing a relaxed evening atmosphere rather than a cool task-lighting effect. Use them above a dining table, across a kitchen island, in a drawing room chandelier, within bedside pendants, or in decorative fittings throughout a restaurant, bar or hospitality interior.
The bulbs are dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer, allowing the light level to move from practical general illumination to a lower, more atmospheric glow. Compatibility should be confirmed with the existing dimmer and light fitting before installation.

Styling & pairings
Suspended above a dining table in a row of clear-glass pendants, the amber globes create a warm rhythm of light while remaining decorative when switched off. In a brass or bronze chandelier, their softened glass tone complements the metalwork without appearing overly bright or modern.
They also pair naturally with dark timber, smoked glass, aged bronze, blackened steel and warm plaster finishes. In more contemporary interiors, the rounded G95 form can soften clean architectural lines, while in traditional rooms it reinforces the atmosphere of an older filament lamp without the higher energy consumption associated with incandescent lighting.
For the most consistent result in multi-light fittings, replace all bulbs within the fitting at the same time. This helps maintain an even colour temperature, matching glass tone and balanced light output across the complete arrangement.
Installation guidance:
Ensure the power is switched off and the existing bulb has cooled before removal. Screw each bulb gently into a compatible E27 lamp holder without overtightening. Confirm that the fitting supports the bulb's physical size, 220-240 V operating range and 8 W LED load before use.
For dimming, use only a dimmer designed for LED lighting. Performance may vary between dimmer models, particularly in fittings containing multiple bulbs, so the total connected load and minimum dimmer load should be checked before installation.
