At just 23 cm of drop, it sits close against the ceiling, making it ideal above long dining tables, kitchen islands, and breakfast bars in modern interiors with standard 2.4 m ceilings.

The fixture is built around a polished chrome rectangular ceiling plate measuring 80 × 25 cm, framing two parallel curtains of genuine K9 optical crystal — an outer wall of round faceted crystal beads strung in vertical cascades, and an inner wall of long rectangular crystal prisms. When the concealed E14 candle bulbs are lit, every prism catches and refracts the light, scattering soft rainbow patterns across the ceiling and adjacent walls.

Where a traditional crystal cascade speaks the language of palaces, Vela speaks the language of contemporary penthouses — a modern, geometric, architectural take on the crystal chandelier that pairs as comfortably with Calacatta marble and brushed brass as it does with light oak and linen.

Vela mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or pattress. Given the 11.5 kg weight and crystal volume, we recommend installation by a qualified electrician — particularly for plasterboard ceilings, where a load-bearing fixing plate may be required.

International Delivery

We ship worldwide. For non-UK destinations, the recipient is considered the importer of record. Any customs duties, import VAT, or local handling fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are payable upon delivery.

Larger Items and Chandeliers

Some chandeliers, large pendant fixtures, and floor lamps are shipped via a specialised two-person courier service to ensure safe delivery. Where this applies, you will be contacted directly to arrange a convenient delivery slot.

Tracking, Missed Deliveries, and Damage in Transit
