The Shoreditch is named for the Hackney quarter that turned brick warehouses into kitchens. Three deep-petrol-blue spun-metal dome shades hang on slim white cords from a long rectangular ceiling plate, each at slightly varying drop heights for a natural rhythm. White inner reflectors throw the light cleanly down onto whatever you place beneath them — an island, peninsula, breakfast bar or long farmhouse table.

Where it works best

The bar is designed for rectangular surfaces and open-plan kitchen-diners. Each cord is adjustable to 95 cm, allowing the drop to be balanced with the ceiling height. It is also sloped-ceiling adaptable, making it suitable for loft conversions and pitched-eaves extensions.
