Pinewood takes its name from the legendary British film studio where searchlights have swept across sound stages since the golden age of cinema. This is that same industrial drama scaled for the home — a full-height chrome searchlight head mounted on a height-adjustable black pinewood tripod, ready to cast a warm directional pool of light wherever you aim it.

The head is a deep-drawn polished steel drum, chrome-plated to a mirror finish, mounted on a gimbal yoke that allows 180° of vertical tilt. Point it at the ceiling for diffused ambient wash, angle it at a reading chair for focused task light, or aim it at a feature wall to spotlight artwork. The tripod base is solid pinewood — three tapered legs in satin black, joined at the apex by precision-machined chrome brackets and stabilised by a horizontal chrome crossbar at mid-height. The legs extend independently, allowing you to adjust the overall height from 110 cm to 155 cm.

Where it works best

Operation is via an inline foot switch on the 1.85-metre fabric cord — a deliberate design choice that keeps the silhouette clean and the controls intuitive. Pinewood accepts any standard E27 bulb up to 40 W: we recommend a large globe Edison filament for maximum visual impact when the head is tilted to reveal the interior.

International Delivery

We ship worldwide. For non-UK destinations, the recipient is considered the importer of record. Any customs duties, import VAT, or local handling fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are payable upon delivery.

Tracking, Missed Deliveries, and Damage in Transit
