A pool of light, suspended in crystal.
The Lyra is named for the constellation of the lyre — a small celestial fixture that, like its namesake, casts a soft and intimate light. Twelve curved chrome arms fan outward from a polished chrome ceiling plate, each carrying a strand of warm champagne-tinted K9 crystal balls. Beneath them, a dome of 43 large faceted crystal spheres and 140 small octagonal beads gathers into a soft cascade — catching every candle-bulb glow and dispersing it into champagne-coloured reflections across the ceiling.
Where it works best
This is the chandelier for the room that does not need to shout. The breakfast nook in a Georgian terrace. The principal bedroom in a townhouse. The reading corner of a Victorian sitting room. Where a grand crystal cascade is theatre, and Vela is architecture, Lyra is candlelight.
